Here’s a little something I did.

Actually, I’m lying. This is a BIG something that I did, of which I am very proud.

I was invited by Springer to contribute a research article to the journal Current Hematologic Malignancy Reports. They asked me to provide updates about the emerging role of Integrative medicine in blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. I discuss things from the feasibility & benefits of aerobic exercise and yoga in patients with leukemia, the use of vitamins and supplement, diet modifications in regards to lymphomas (as well as prostate and breast cancer), Ayurvedic medicine, acupuncture during chemotherapy infusion, and much more. I also differentiate complementary medicine from alternative medicine, where complementary medicine is a marriage between evidence based medicine and other health practices to supplement and/or enhance treatment, reduce risk, and mitigate symptoms associated with cancer or cancer treatment. If there is no evidence for certain practices, I also note it, without sugar coating the lack of evidence.
